Emerging Markets – The Indigo Group specializes in helping emerging market public and private sector clients manage and finance their petrochemical purchasing programs. Because of our experience, we are able to handle all of the logistics of fuel procurement, shipping, insurance, port management and independent quantity and quality inspections. We can also help address storage, distribution and financing issues.

Pipes & Hydraulic Networks – For more than a decade, the Indigo Group has sourced and supplied pipes and other equipment for the construction of major hydraulic networks for our clients. These materials include such items as ductile iron and HDPE conduits and related high-quality accessories. We source all materials we sell from our international network of reputable suppliers according to exacting specifications. Our technical experts provide support to clients in this area by assisting them with the technical design of orders, facilitating the sourcing of appropriate materials, and ensuring quality control. We also manage all of the logistics for shipping, insurance, port management, and delivery of the goods worldwide.

We have supplied pipes and other hydraulic equipment for projects as varied as river bed stabilization, potable water supply distribution, ravine cleaning, wastewater treatment plants, water retention basins and sanitation and drainage systems.

Our clients include international donors, multilateral agencies, national and regional water and sanitation authorities and governments. We are very familiar with government procurement processes and the financing requirements of sponsoring agencies.

Infrastructure Projects – For nearly a decade the Indigo Group has provided project management and engineering services to our clients for infrastructure projects. These range from construction or rehabilitation of roads, bridges, box culverts and river bed stabilization measures to projects involving potable water supply and distribution systems, wastewater treatment plants, and sanitation and drainage systems. We have also acted as a significant supplier of parts and materials needed for these projects.

Many projects in emerging market countries require sponsorship and donor assistance. We have established relationships with donors and have worked as a project manager and disbursing agent for projects supported by the European Union, the Inter-American Development Bank, the Petro Caribe Fund, the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation and Development and the Export-Import Bank of the United States.

Clean Energy – The Indigo Group is committed to an alternative energy future and we are intent on doing our part to facilitate a gradual transition to clean energy in the locations in which we operate. Alternative energy solutions are particularly attractive in many of the emerging market countries we serve because they can be implemented locally and on a smaller scale, avoiding the significant capital costs of installing transmission and distribution lines to remote locations.

They can also be designed to by-pass what is often the fragile infrastructure of the national grid as well as to reduce the demand on over-loaded installed generating capacity that is common in many emerging market countries. We believe that a transition to alternative energy is vital in order to mitigate the threats of climate change and to improve fuel security for the people located in the markets we serve.
